Jacob Pillsbury is a personal injury attorney. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2007 with a Bachelors of Arts in English. During his tenure at the University of Florida, Jacob discovered an interest in pursuing a career in the law, which came to fruition when he graduated from Stetson University College of Law. Jacob earned his Juris Doctorate from Stetson in May of 2012 and recently passed the Florida Bar examination on his first shot.

While attending Stetson Law, the school recognized his dedication to trial advocacy and chose him as one of ten classmates to participate as a member of the nationally recognized number one ranked trial team. Jacob advocated in six Mock Trial Competitions as a member of the trial team, including two national competitions for the American Association for Justice. Jacob also served as an intern for the Honorable Judge Amy Williams within the Sixth Civil Circuit in Pinellas County.

During Jacob’s second year at Stetson, adjunct professor for Trial Advocacy Christian A. Myer Esq. recognized Jacob’s skill for trial advocacy. This led to Mr. Myer hiring Jacob as his teaching assistant in the fall of 2011.

These experiences spurred a love for jury trials and civil practice. That love for representing persons injured by the negligence of others brought him to the Dolman Law Group.

Jacob works closely with Matthew Dolman and Christian Myer in handling first- and third-party insurance claims in the areas of automobile accidents, catastrophic injury, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries and wrongful death actions. Jacob presently heads up the firms’ Consumer Justice and Protection Department where he oversees claims against overzealous debt collection entities.

All of his clients receive his personal contact information in order to make him as accessible as possible on a daily basis.
